The Executive Committee has passed a resolution on 18 July 2023 to report to the public and TriHK members on the update status of a High Court Case HCA 1610 of 2020 involving Li Siu Men trading as Soar Athletic Association ("Soar") and our Association ("TriHK").

In short, the Court made a decision to dismiss Soar's summary judgment application with costs to be paid forthwith to our Association (dated 5 November 2021). It is commented that Soar's ill-thought-through formulation of their claim may be due to an erroneous assumption and complicating of the law.

The Executive Committee also passed the resolution for claiming costs of the above decision and our Association shall take relevant steps to continue handling the above case.
