Recruitment for the post of

Administrative Assistant (AA)

Salary: HK$14,829 per month


Duties & responsibilities:

  • Report to the Senior Sports Executive and Sports Executive;
  • Organize the development programmes and events and promotions;
  • Undertake any administrative and clerical duties in the office and answer enquiries;
  • Coordinate on the local programmes of the Hong Kong Triathlon Association (TriHK);
  • Undertake outdoor field work relating to job duties assigned;
  • Assist in implementing an efficient filing system for Secretariat;
  • To perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor.


Minimum qualifications and experience required:

  • Grade E / Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including English (Syllabus B), Chinese and Mathematics in HKCEE / HK Diploma of Secondary Education Examination; or Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including English, Chinese and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination.


Skills required:

  • Proficient in in written and spoken English and Chinese language skills;
  • Good PC skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Chinese word processing, PowerPoint, Outlook etc);
  • Available and flexible to work during non-office hours and on weekends and public holidays;
  • Familiar with Photoshop or Ai will be an advantage;
  • Immediate availability is a definite advantage.

Cancellation of 2019 Hong Kong Life ASTC Sprint Triathlon Asian Cup and the Asian Aquathlon Championships – 12 and 13 October 2019


Due to escalated and widespread civil unrest in the city since more than two months ago, we regret to inform you that the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Triathlon Association has decided to cancel the 2019 Hong Kong Life ASTC Sprint Triathlon Asian Cup and the Asian Aquathlon Championships. TriHK has come to the decision as the uncertain situation could compromise the safety of athletes, officials and participants alike. 


The Association will arrange full refund to all participants and email will be sent to all participants.

Triathlon Grass Root Athlete Development Plan is organized by the Hong Kong Triathlon Association and subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It aims at introducing the triathlon to the public, providing triathlon foundational training, and encouraging the public to participate in triathlon activities. The development Plan includes Triathlon Fun Day, Beginner’s Training Course, and Intermediate Training Course.

The YAT Training aims to arouse teenagers interest to Triathlon and to foster their sportsmanship through systematic training.

  1. The athlete must be a paid-up 2019 Hong Kong Triathlon Association member
  2. The athlete must be good standing with the Association
  3. The athlete must be a Permanent Resident of the Hong Kong SAR or have been continuously living in the HKSAR for at least one year prior to selection
  4. The athlete must have raced and finished at least one event Long Distance, Half-Ironman or Ironman, please provide the result record


In the event that there are more applicants than available slots for any particular event, the selection will be at the discretion of the Selection Sub Committee, whose decision is final.
